Prospekt Family

Inspired by utilitarian faces such as Underground and Transport, I created a full linear type family. Combining Grotesk and Humanist Sans (referred to simply as Sans), I ended up making four separate yet still connected families.

Telex Family

For my next font, I created a Didone (high contrast, vertical O, skinny serifs), and turned it into a wide family: Slabs, Sans, Transitionals, and Italics, followed by Small Caps, and Old Style Figures – all in OpenType.

Commerce Family

After designing a series of logos for a client in 2004, I made those letters into fonts, refining and expanding them. In 2013 I added the condensed, followed by serifs and and their italics in 2018.

Commerce-Script Family

This is a decorative take on Commerce Italic. Inspired by hand-lettered grocery store signs. The Shadow Fonts add a 2-color, dimensional look. Condensed versions were added in 2013.

Commerce-Serif Family

Complementing the Commerce and Condensed fonts, Commerce Serif has a width that lies between the two. It has the same vertical metrics, resulting in generous readability. Commerce Serif was designed in 2018.
